How Turkesterone improves recovery, strength, and endurance

Studies show that turkesterone can help repair muscle fibres after exercise

Ecdysterone has been shown to increase protein synthesis in skeletal muscle, which boosts strength by repairing muscle damage caused by strenuous exercise. It prevents muscle protein breakdown (MPB) (Leal, 2022).

Inadequate glycogen availability leads to decreased endurance exercise capacity and the inability to continue exercising. Trukesterone and Ecdysterone increases glycogen concentration in muscles which helps recovery by breaking down lactic acid.

 

How does Turkesterone increase muscle protein synthesis?

Protein synthesis is critical in the muscle-building process. A higher protein synthesis rate can result in faster muscle recovery and increased muscle mass.

Ecdysteroids increased protein synthesis by up to 20% (Jonathan Gorelick-Feldman 1, 2021).

 

Anabolic effect  

A study on the anabolic potency of ecdysterone showed that it has a higher anabolic effect than SARMs, Dianabol, and Dienedione. Which is absurd since those compounds all have been proven to be highly effective for muscle building.

A 1988 study comparing the effects of Dianabol and Ecdysteroids on physical endurance discovered that Ecdysterone had a stronger influence.

Side Effects

Ecdysterone is generally considered safe if it is not overused. One of the most trustworthy studies mentioned previously discovered that taking it as a supplement did not cause symptoms of liver or kidney toxicity. It also appears to cause fewer side effects than other steroids, including changes in appetite, mood, libido, hair growth, and sleep.
