Fat burners on Keto? Everything you need to know.

You may have heard that fat burners are recommended on a ketogenic diet.  Many people want to know if fat burners are necessary, and the answer is "it depends."  The first question you should ask yourself is whether or not you're eating enough fat. If your goal is weight loss, then it's likely you need to be eating a fat-rich ketogenic diet in order to lose fat. This means that the fat you eat should come from healthy sources such as coconut oil, avocados, and fatty fish.  It is recommended that women eat at least 70-80 grams of fat per day while men should aim for at least 100 grams on a ketogenic diet.  If fat loss isn't your goal, fat burners are not necessary.

However, fat burners can be incredibly beneficial to individuals who are struggling with fat loss or who are looking to make their fat-burning efforts more efficient.  These products contain stimulants which can assist you in losing fat and increasing energy levels.  There are fat burners which can be taken to speed up and increase your fat loss efforts, and fat burners which can be used for maintaining a fat-loss state without the stimulant effects that would interfere with work or relaxation.

If you're trying to lose weight, then fat burners can play an important role in your fat-loss efforts.  Many fat burners contain stimulants which can boost your energy levels and enhance fat loss, but it's important to be careful when taking these products.

Most fat burning supplements are stimulant based. A full list of ingredients on one of these fat burning supplements may include caffeine, green tea, guarana, fat burners, fat burning pills, fat burner supplements, fat loss pills or fat loss supplements.

Caffeine is an important ingredient in fat burning supplements which have the stimulant effects needed to speed up your body's fat-burning abilities.  Caffeine gets stored in your muscles as a molecule called 1,3-dimethylxanthine.  Once caffeine is stored in fat cells, the fat starts to breakdown and becomes more easily burned for energy.

Caffeine can play an important role in fat loss, especially when combined with other stimulants such as yohimbine or synephrine. By itself though, caffeine does not lead to fat loss.  The fat-burning effects of caffeine are reliant upon the fat in your body being available for fat burning. Therefore, fat burners are most effective when combined with a healthy fat-rich ketogenic diet.

If you want to use fat loss supplements to make your weight loss efforts more efficient, then fat burners may be what you're looking for.  However, fat burners are not necessary if fat loss is your primary goal.

There are many fat burning supplements which mimic the effects of stimulants without being too powerful. These fat burning products are designed to be used in conjunction with a fat-rich ketogenic diet and can help you achieve faster fat loss while still being able to work and enjoy life.

Don't take fat burning supplements if fat loss isn't your primary goal, and be careful when taking fat-burning stimulants with caffeine or other fat burning ingredients. Make sure you're eating enough fat in order to take full advantage of the fat-burning effects of these products.  If you need fat-burning assistance, fat burners can be dangerous and helpful at the same time.  Use fat burner supplements as part of your fat loss program and monitor your fat loss progress to determine whether or not these products are working for you.
